When I understand the I Am, it changes who I am. In this, we discover life.
Jesus gave us the right to be children of God, that is a right we can’t afford to miss out on.
Jesus makes it clear that God isn’t just God, he is Father. Jesus when he lived and died for us, the “us” is all-inclusive. These words in the book of John would have been shocking to those who read them at the time it was written.
If we’re honest, those words can be just as eye-opening to our society today.
We’re supposed to anchor our identity in the fact that we’re children of God and not in the opinions of others. Is there someone in your life in whom you have anchored your identity?
The longer we play that game, the less life we experience.
As a child of God, you were saved to be free… not in prison.
